Common use of Utility Allowance Clause in Contracts

Utility Allowance. Should EMPLOYEE reside within the CITY limits, then EMPLOYEE shall be entitled to receive a utility credit in the amount of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per month against the cost of electric and water service during the period of such residency. In the event EMPLOYEE’s spouse or a member of EMPLOYEE’s household also is employed by the CITY and is eligible for this utility allowance, only one of either EMPLOYEE or EMPLOYEE’s spouse or member of EMPLOYEE’s household shall be eligible for such utility allowance.
