The Contractor shall protect-in-place all utilities unless otherwise noted on the plans. All existing city-owned utilities located in sidewalk, driveway approach, access ramp or any area requiring grade adjustment due to the proposed improvements shall be considered appurtenant to the bid item for which the adjustment is required.
