Vacancy Created by Granting of Parental Maternity or Adoption Leave a) The College may fill the vacancy created by the granting of parental, maternity or adoption leave in accordance with Article 25. The employee selected to fill the vacancy shall continue to do so until the employee on parental, maternity or adoption leave has: i) at the expiration of her leave, returned to her position; ii) resigned, or advised the College of her election not to return to the position at the expiration of her parental leave, and the College has refilled the position. b) Where an extension is granted under Article 21.02 b) ii), the corresponding extension of an appointment pursuant to Article 21.07 need not be posted.
