Vacations Non-Accumulative. ‌ (a) An employee may carry over up to five (5) days’ vacation leave per vacation year, but requests for additional carry over may be approved in the case of special circumstances. (b) A single vacation period which overlaps the end of a vacation year shall be considered as vacation for the vacation year in which it commenced. The portion of vacation taken subsequent to but adjoining the end of the vacation year shall not be considered as vacation carryover, nor as a seniority choice for the subsequent vacation year. (c) Vacation time shall not be cumulative from calendar year to calendar year for employees whose vacation entitlement is equal to or greater than the vacation entitlement set out in the Collective Agreement.
