Vehicle Scheduling and Dispatching. The Contractor shall utilize a systematic, organized and documented method to schedule, dispatch, and transport Dial‐A‐Ride passengers. The method should be capable of accommodating advanced reservations, and requests for immediate service and of integrating all demand for service into efficient vehicle tours that maximize productivity and assure service quality to levels prescribed in this Scope of Work. HTA shall make scheduling software available to the Contractor. The Contractor may propose to use an alternate scheduling application. For all ITS property and services the Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the National ITS Architecture and Standards to the extend required by 23 U.S.C. Vehicle Scheduling and Dispatching. Contractor shall provide a computer-assisted system for developing daily routes incorporating all reservations received, and producing driver manifests/route itineraries. The system must be sufficiently efficient to accommodate all trips requests. The system must be sufficiently flexible to accommodate same-day changes in passenger schedules, including short-notice and immediate-notice requests for service. It must be capable of handling "will-call" pickup requests by passengers making return trips from medical appointments.

  • Dispatching 1. Dispatchers will schedule and assign drivers and vehicles in accordance with the trips scheduled for each day; 2. Dispatchers will assist drivers while they are in service to carry out the assigned trips on time by providing address assistance and telephoning passengers as needed. 3.   • Ordering and Provisioning 53.3.1 CenturyLink will provide necessary ordering and provisioning business process support as well as those technical and systems interfaces as may be required to enable CLEC to provide resale services, including the functions, features, and capabilities of such services, and Unbundled Network Elements. Complex Service Order charges pursuant to Tariff terms may apply. 53.3.5 Where Technically Feasible, the NEAC will coordinate support for all designed and/or complex services provided to CLEC. 53.3.6 To the extent required by Applicable Law, and upon request from CLEC, employing CenturyLink’s LSR, CenturyLink will provide blocking of 700, 900, and 976 services, or other services of similar type as may now exist or be developed in the future, and shall provide Billed Number Screening (BNS), including required LIDB updates, or equivalent service for blocking completion of bill-to-third party and collect calls, on a line, PBX, or individual service basis. Blocking shall be provided to the extent (a) it is an available option for the Telecommunications Service resold by CLEC, or (b) it is Technically Feasible when requested by CLEC as a function of Unbundled Network Elements. 53.3.7 When ordering a resale service via an LSR Service Order, CLEC may order separate interLATA and IintraLATA service providers (i.e., two PICs) on a line or trunk basis, and CLEC agrees to pay the applicable Service Order and PIC charges associated with such order. CenturyLink will accept PIC change orders for IntraLATA toll and long distance services through the service provisioning process. 53.3.8 The standard Service Order charges as listed in the Table 1 of this Agreement shall apply to all orders.

  • Routing for Operator Services and Directory Assistance Traffic For a Verizon Telecommunications Service dial tone line purchased by VarTec for resale pursuant to the Resale Attachment, upon request by VarTec, Verizon will establish an arrangement that will permit VarTec to route the VarTec Customer’s calls for operator and directory assistance services to a provider of operator and directory assistance services selected by VarTec. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement pursuant to an appropriate written request submitted by VarTec and a mutually agreed-upon schedule. This routing arrangement will be implemented at VarTec's expense, with charges determined on an individual case basis. In addition to charges for initially establishing the routing arrangement, VarTec will be responsible for ongoing monthly and/or usage charges for the routing arrangement. VarTec shall arrange, at its own expense, the trunking and other facilities required to transport traffic to VarTec’s selected provider of operator and directory assistance services.

  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Bank shall maintain and update from time to time business continuation and disaster recovery procedures with respect to its global custody business, which are designed, in the event of a significant business disruption affecting Bank, to be sufficient to enable Bank to resume and continue to perform its duties and obligations under this Agreement without undue delay or disruption. Bank shall test the operability of such procedures at least annually. Bank shall enter into and shall maintain in effect at all times during the term of this Agreement reasonable provision for (i) periodic back-up of the computer files and data with respect to Customer and (ii) use of alternative electronic data processing equipment to provide services under this Agreement. Upon reasonable request, Bank shall discuss with Customer any business continuation and disaster recovery procedures of Bank. Bank represents that its business continuation and disaster recovery procedures are appropriate for its business as a global custodian to investment companies registered under the 1940 Act.
