Common use of Verbal Instructions Clause in Contracts

Verbal Instructions. No negotiations, decisions, or actions shall be initiated or executed by the Contractor as a result of any discussions with any County employee. Only those communications that are in writing from the County’s staff identified in Section IV., Contract Management, of this Agreement shall be considered a duly authorized expression on behalf of the County. Only communications from the Contractor’s representative identified in Section IV., B., which are in writing and signed, will be recognized by the County as duly authorized expressions on behalf of the Contractor.
