Common use of Visits by Union Representatives Clause in Contracts

Visits by Union Representatives. Representatives from the Union will be granted reasonable access to City facilities and employees in the bargaining unit for the purpose of investigating grievances and to conduct official union business. The visits shall not interfere with the normal operations of the City.

Visits by Union Representatives. Representatives from the Union will be granted reasonable access to City facilities and employees in the bargaining unit for the purpose of investigating grievances and to conduct official union business. The visits shall not interfere with the normal operations of the City. The CITY agrees to provide the Union with a meeting room in the City to allow the Union to be easily accessible to bargaining unit employees on a regular basis for informational purposes. The date, time, location, and intervals of such union office hours shall be mutually agreed upon by the parties.

Representatives from The City agrees that representatives of the Union, whether Local Union will be granted reasonable representatives, Council representatives, or International Union representatives, shall have access to the premises of the City facilities and employees in the bargaining unit for the purpose of investigating grievances and to conduct official union Union business.
