Voluntary Lay Off. An employee having a fixed full-time schedule and who is called upon to choose a new block or schedule in application of article may opt for a voluntary lay-off when, at the time she is called upon to choose a new block or schedule, there is none which includes at least the same number of weekly hours; or, is similar from the perspective of the timing of daily tours on a weekly basis; as compared with her old fixed full-time schedule.
