Voluntary Reassignments. A. Employees may request to be reassigned. It is the responsibility of the employee to locate a position to which the employee would like to be reassigned. Unless there is an established local practice, the employee, or the employee’s Union representative, will submit a written request to the employee’s supervisor who will route the request to the appropriate decision making official. B. The Agency will consider a voluntary reassignment request and respond to the employee within 15 work days. If the request is denied, Management will inform the employee of the reasons for the denial. C. The Union and employees understand that Management is under no obligation to grant a voluntary reassignment request. D. Employees who are reassigned will receive adequate training in the duties and responsibilities of the new position.
