a) CE1 Task undertaken: - general construction labouring and cleaning duties; - assists employees at higher classification levels, including tradesmen; - uses hand-held grinding machines; - work of a chainperson or surveyor’s assistant
b) CE2 Task undertaken: - duties in a tool or materials store, including the receiving, despatching, distributing, sorting, checking, documenting and recording of goods, materials and components which may involve the use of forklifts, hand trolleys and similar lifting equipment; - operates hand controlled roller.
c) CE3 Task undertaken: - concrete tester; - structural work on concrete operations, including assisting tradesmen fixing form work, fixing steel (including tack welding steel reinforcement), placing concrete and finishing placed concrete; - rigger or scaffolder holding a certificate other than an advanced certification; - duties of a dogperson; - powder monkey; - undertakes spotters duties for mobile equipment; - operates the following types of equipment • bitumen sprayer; • concrete batching plant; • aggregate crushing plant; • concrete pump operator; • concrete agitator truck driver; • concrete finisher, powered • crawler tractor with power operated attachments (up to and including 2,000kg shipping mass) d) CE4 • hand sprayer, ▇▇▇▇▇ type • pneumatic tyred tractor with power operated attachments (up to and including 1.5kw net engine power) • roller vibrating or non-vibrating (under 8 tonnes) – not hand controlled • trenching machine (small Ditch-Witch type) • drilling machine Task undertaken: - rigger or scaffolder holding an advanced certification - pipe layers and drainers work; - operates articulated on-site vehicles; - operates the following types of mobile plant: bitumen sprayer (driver) • crawler loader (up to and including 15,000kg mass) • crawler tractor with power operated attachments (over2,000kg up to and including 15,000kg shipping mass) • dumper, rear and bottom (above 2 cubic metres up to and including 30 cubic...

WAGES STRUCTURE a) SCOPED and CASUAL WORKFORCE - Employees covered by this Agreement shall be paid in accordance with the following:
(i) Each employee shall fall into one (1) of three (3) categories as defined by their qualifications. These are:
(a) Non Trade (NT) (b) Qualified (Q) (c) Mechanical Trade (MT) As defined below: NT - Non-Trades - An employee with no formal qualifications, and who has completed the Site Safety Induction procedure.
