Warranty of Workmanship. Artist/Contractor represents and warrants that, for a period of three years after final acceptance, the Work <<INSERT ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE WORK IF NEEDED (I.E., INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE X, Y, AND Z)]>> will be free of defects in workmanship or materials, including Inherent Defects (as defined below), and that the Work will be executed in permanent, non-fugitive materials that will not tend to degrade or fade over long-term installation at the Site. “Inherent Defect” refers to a quality within the material or materials, which comprise the Work which, either alone or in combination, results in the tendency of the Work to destroy itself. “Inherent Defect” does not include any tendency to deteriorate that is specifically identified in the Contract Documents approved by the Commission. Artist shall, at Artist’s sole cost and expense, remedy any defects in workmanship or materials that appear within a period of one year from the date of final acceptance of the Artwork by City.
