WASHINGTON’S STATEWIDE PAYEE DESK Clause Samples

The 'Washington’s Statewide Payee Desk' clause establishes the requirement for payments under the contract to be processed through a centralized payment system managed by the State of Washington. In practice, this means that all invoices and payment requests must be submitted to and handled by the designated payee desk, rather than directly to individual agencies or departments. This centralization streamlines payment processing, ensures consistency in payment procedures, and reduces administrative errors, ultimately facilitating efficient and reliable disbursement of funds.
