Common use of Work Day and Hours Clause in Contracts

Work Day and Hours. Each twelve (12) month supervisory employee shall work no more than forty (40) hours total per week from September through June when students are in attendance, and no more than thirty– five (35) hours per work week from July 1 through August 31 and school vacation days when students are not in attendance. However, each twelve (12) month supervisory employee may be required to work additional hours with no additional remuneration for such occasions as, but not to be limited to, open house, back–to–school night, graduation, extended year, etc. Work year is defined as July 1 through June 30 of the following year, with the exception of holidays and vacation time.
