WORK INSIDE OF THE ORDINARY SPAN OF HOURS. When an Indoor employee is required to attend meetings, training, conferences or the like during the normal course of their duties, in excess of their Standard Ordinary Hours of work on anyone day, but the time worked is inside the Ordinary Span of Hours, the additional time worked shall accrue as Time off in lieu TOil As negotiated with the Line Manager an employee may accrue TOIL within the normal course of undertaking their duties when required. Any TOIL accrual in excess of the TOIL guidelines must be by prior arrangement with their Line Manager. Upon mutual agreement, an employee may take time worked inside the ordinary span of hours as overtime (at the appropriate rate). Document Control Version IV3 - March 201~ 4.4.   • Span of Hours (a) The ordinary hours of work for a day worker will be between 6.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. (b) A shift worker is an employee who works ordinary hours outside the day worker span of hours.

  • Standard Work Week (a) Except as provided below, the standard work week for Full-time Employees shall normally consist of 35 hours per week, which shall normally consist of 5 equal Shifts of 7 hours. (b) The standard work week for certain Full-time Employees, including but not limited to, technical Employees, shall normally consist of 37.5 hours per week, which shall normally consist of 5 equal Shifts of 7.5 hours.

  • Deviation from Grievance Procedure The Employer agrees that, after a grievance has been discussed at Step 2 of the grievance procedure the Employer or his representatives shall not initiate any discussion or negotiations with respect to the grievance, either directly or indirectly with the aggrieved employee without the consent of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or the Union.

  • Certification of Meeting or Exceeding Tobacco-Free Workplace Policy Minimum Standards A. Grantee certifies that it has adopted and enforces a Tobacco-Free Workplace Policy that meets or exceeds all of the following minimum standards of: i. Prohibiting the use of all forms of tobacco products, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, water pipes (hookah), bidis, kreteks, electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, snuff and chewing tobacco; ii. Designating the property to which this Policy applies as a "designated area,” which must at least comprise all buildings and structures where activities funded under this Grant Agreement are taking place, as well as Grantee owned, leased, or controlled sidewalks, parking lots, walkways, and attached parking structures immediately adjacent to this designated area; iii. Applying to all employees and visitors in this designated area; and iv. Providing for or referring its employees to tobacco use cessation services. B. If Grantee cannot meet these minimum standards, it must obtain a waiver from the System Agency.

  • Disciplinary Meetings In the event a meeting is held for disciplinary purposes, the affected employee shall have the right to have a Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and/or Union representative present.
