Work on Scheduled Days Off. When an Employee is required to work on their scheduled day off or days off, all work performed on that day or those days shall be compensated on the basis of one and one-half (I times the Employee’s basic hourly rate. An Employee who is required to work their scheduled day off shall be guaranteed a minimum credit of three (3) hours in respect of each scheduled day off they are required to work. The minimum credit shall not apply in the case of a call-back. Nothing herein precludes an Employee and their Supervisor from mutually agreeing to change an Employee’s scheduled day off and in such case the overtime provisions shall not apply. Where an Employee has been required to work on their scheduled day off, the Employee and their Department Manager may mutually agree that the Employee may be granted compensating time off in lieu of overtime pay. The date or dates when the time off may be taken shall be as mutually agreed between the Employee and their Department Manager, provided, however, that if mutual agreement is not reached within a reasonable time, the Employee shall be paid for the time worked or the Employer may assign the time off.
