Work Package 1. 1.1. Assessment of locally produced aggregates’ properties in Latvia based on: 1.1.1. „Rail Baltica Design Guidelines. Railway Substructure Part 1, Embankments and Earthworks” (consolidated table with RB DG requirements are described in Annex A); 1.1.2. UIC 719R „Earthworks and track bed for railway lines“ (3rd edition, February 2008); 1.1.3. Three frost susceptibility criteria described in Annex B “Methods for assessing the frost susceptibility of soils”. 1.2. Detailed overview about the capabilities of local accredited laboratories which could conduct the tests according to the test methods described in this document.
