Work Week for NTEs. The Trustees acknowledge the College's obligation to establish reasonable weekly workloads for non-teaching educators with full recognition on the part of DUE that there may be critical periods during which the established workloads may be exceeded. Normally, except in cases of institutional or student need, non-teaching educators shall be scheduled to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Initiating with the first full work week in June and ending with the last full work week in August, NTEs may work a four-day, 40 hour work week including 1 hour and 15 minutes lunch daily with their consent and with the approval of the appropriate ▇▇▇▇. Sick days, personal days, and leave days taken during a four-day work week shall be adjusted accordingly. In the event that the College is closed on Fridays during the summer, NTEs will have the option of working an extended four-day work week, using approved leave time or taking Friday as an unpaid day. Sick days, personal days, and vacation days taken during a four-day work week will be adjusted accordingly.
