Common use of Work Week Schedule Clause in Contracts

Work Week Schedule. Supervisors shall be scheduled by the Police Chief to work on regular work shifts; regularly scheduled work shifts shall not exceed forty (40) hours in one (1) week except as hereinafter provided for in Section 2. The schedule of regularly scheduled work shifts shall be posted in the Police Department at least thirty (30) days in advance and shall remain posted until such regularly scheduled work shift is completed. Days off shall be consecutive. Notwithstanding the above, the Police Chief may make changes in schedules because of emergency or operational requirements as determined by him.
