WORK YEAR, PLANNING, AND JOB DEFINITION. Section 7.1 - Introduction A. The need to be flexible in how the job is carried out as we explore ways of working smarter, not harder. B. The need to share authority and responsibility as we ask staff to plan, design, deliver, and assess an instructional program. C. The need to focus and prioritize the work that needs to be done to accomplish the purpose of the District. D. The need to match available resources to the focus and priorities of our work. E. The need to provide a safe, secure, challenging, and team-based environment for the work to take place. F. To this end, the parties have defined the components of the job as:

  • Multi-Year Planning The CAPS will be in a form acceptable to the LHIN and may be required to incorporate (1) prudent multi-year financial forecasts; (2) plans for the achievement of performance targets; and (3) realistic risk management strategies. It will be aligned with the LHIN’s then current Integrated Health Service Plan and will reflect local LHIN priorities and initiatives. If the LHIN has provided multi-year planning targets for the HSP, the CAPS will reflect the planning targets.

  • Multi-year Planning Targets Schedule A may reflect an allocation for the first Funding Year of this Agreement as well as planning targets for up to two additional years, consistent with the term of this Agreement. In such an event, the HSP acknowledges that if it is provided with planning targets, these targets: a. are targets only, b. are provided solely for the purposes of planning, c. are subject to confirmation, and d. may be changed at the discretion of the Funder in consultation with the HSP. The HSP will proactively manage the risks associated with multi-year planning and the potential changes to the planning targets; and the Funder agrees that it will communicate any changes to the planning targets as soon as reasonably possible.

  • Attachment A, Scope of Services The scope of services is amended as follows:

  • Definition of Grievance A grievance shall be defined as any difference arising out of the interpretation, application, administration, or alleged violation of the Collective Agreement.

  • SECTION I - DEFINITIONS As used in this Agreement, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed herein unless otherwise stated or reasonably required by the Agreement, and other forms of any defined words shall have a meaning parallel thereto.
