Common use of WORKDAY AND WORK YEAR Clause in Contracts

WORKDAY AND WORK YEAR. 1. The workday shall consist of seven (7) hours per day, including a one-half hour unpaid lunch, for a total paid workday of six-and-one-half (6.5) hours. 2. The work year shall consist of one hundred eighty-one (181) days per year between September 1 and June 30 which includes all student school days and the day before school starts. Additional days may be offered on a voluntary basis during July and August. 3. The Board agrees to provide one (1) fifteen minute break each school day.

WORKDAY AND WORK YEAR. 1. The workday shall consist of seven eight (7) 8) hours per day, including a one-half hour unpaid lunch, for a total paid workday of sixseven-and-one-half (6.57.5) hours. 2. The work year shall consist of one hundred eighty-one ninety (181190) days per year between September 1 and June 30. (Optional) Between July 1-August 30 which includes all student school days and the day before school starts. Additional days up to an additional 60 hours may be offered on a voluntary basis during July and Augustscheduled with the approval of Principals. 3. The Board agrees to provide one (1) fifteen minute break each school day.
