WORKING LOAD Sample Clauses

The WORKING LOAD clause defines the maximum load or force that equipment, machinery, or structural components are permitted to safely handle during normal operation. In practice, this clause sets a specific weight or stress limit, often determined by engineering standards or manufacturer specifications, and may require regular inspection or certification to ensure compliance. Its core function is to prevent overloading, thereby reducing the risk of equipment failure, accidents, or structural damage, and ensuring the safety and reliability of operations.
