Working Supervisor. Employee who is a supervisor similar to above but in addition performs hands-on work.
Working Supervisor. An employee who not only supervises non-supervisory employees, but also engages in direct labor.
Working Supervisor. Employees outside the bargaining unit will not perform work that is normally done by employees in the bargaining unit. However, nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as prohibiting supervisors from doing work for purposes of instruction, provided by doing so a lay-off of bargaining unit employees does not result, or in the case of an emergency when regular employees are not available, provided that every effort is made to find a replacement.
Working Supervisor. For as long as ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ is employed by the Town, he will remain employed as working supervisor and will be paid in accordance with the Town’s salary schedule. When ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ is no longer employed by the Town in the highway department, the Town will be allowed to appoint an employee to serve as “working supervisor” on an as-needed basis. Working Supervisor. 12.1 A Supervisor shall not be allowed to do mechanics' work when mechanics are working on a reduced hourly basis and are available. Supervisors will not perform bargaining unit work except in instances of emergencies. This is not intended to restrict the use of a working supervisor in accordance with established practice at small points.

  • Supervisor Within ten (10) business days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based, or within ten (10) business days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, an employee shall file a formal written grievance. Three copies of the departmental grievance form shall be completed by the employee stating the nature of the grievance and the remedy requested from his/her departmental Management. The employee shall submit two copies to his/her immediate supervisor and retain the third copy.
