Written Change Order Sample Clauses

A Written Change Order clause establishes that any modifications to the original contract must be documented and agreed upon in writing by all parties before they become effective. In practice, this means that if the scope of work, project timeline, or costs need to be adjusted, both parties must formally approve these changes through a signed document. This process ensures that all alterations are clearly recorded, preventing misunderstandings and disputes by providing a definitive record of agreed-upon changes.

The scope of work encompassed by the change order; B. The amount to be added or subtracted from the contract based on the change order; C.
