▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Wage Scale. The base wage for foremen shall be eight percent (8%) above the building trades journeyman gross taxable wage. All fringe benefits shall be paid at the same rates as building trades journeyman. (See Addendum 6, Section 2 for more on ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇) Section 7. Show-up Pay/New Hires. a. Show-up Pay when placed to work. Journeymen, apprentice, pre-apprentice and industrial sheet metal workers who report for work by direction of the Employer, and are placed to work, shall be entitled to a minimum of four (4) hours’ pay at the established rate. This provision, how- ever, shall not apply under conditions over which the Employer has no control. b. Show-up Pay when not placed to work. With the exception of service work, journeymen, apprentice, pre-apprentice and industrial sheet metal workers who report for work by direction of the Employer, and are not placed to work, shall be entitled to a minimum of two (2) hours’ pay at the established rate. Newly hired journeymen, apprentice, pre-apprentice and industrial sheet metal workers shall be paid for time spent completing new hire paperwork and drug testing, at the es- tablished rate, provided the employee does not test positive for prohibited substances.

  • Wage Scale The wages shown in Appendix A will be part of this Agreement.

  • Wage Scales All workers covered by this Agreement shall be classified and paid in accordance with the classification and wage scales as attached as Appendices "A" and "B" and forming part of this Agreement.

  • Supported Wage System The Supported Wage provisions are set out in Schedule E – Supported Wage System.

  • Annual Leave Loading During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading of 17.5 per cent calculated on the employee’s normal hourly rate of pay and the daily fares allowance if applicable. The loading will also apply to proportionate leave on lawful termination.

  • Wage Progression (a) Employees within their position classification will progress from the "start rate" to the "one year rate" and so on, on the basis of eighteen hundred (1800) hours paid by the Employer at the "start rate" to the "one year rate" and so on. Hours for which the employee receives WSIB as a result of a work related injury while in the employ of the Employer shall be considered hours paid for the purposes of computing eligibility to progress to the next higher rate within their position classification. (b) Hours paid by the Employer during an employee’s probationary period will be included for purposes of wage progression.
