The Duke Translational Research Institute (DTRI), a component of the Duke Translational Medicine Institute (DTMI), supports development and proof-of-concept evaluation of therapeutic agents, biomedical devices, and diagnostic tests designed to address unmet clinical needs. The DTRI supports translational research not only by providing funding, but also by promoting investigator collaboration, encouraging innovation, providing project management assistance, and providing access to resources/services in a collaborative and service- oriented fashion.
