Prior to the onset of the growing season, CSA members pay up front to help cover the cost of growing produce. Once harvesting begins, members receive their weekly “share” of the harvest. Members benefit from receiving locally grown produce, picked fresh when it is most flavorful and highest in nutrients, with no seasonal market price fluctuations. The farmer benefits by planting produce according to a known number of CSA members.

We care deeply about the quality of the produce we grow for you. We grow everything with our hands, no big machinery, using a biologically intensive approach to maximize yield and quality of what we grow while increasing the health and fertility of the soil. Since we sell fresh, local produce, we get to prioritize flavor over shelf life in the varieties we grow. Even so, some greens may have spots, some root veggies may be shaped a little funny, some produce might have a worm living inside, etc. It will not look as uniform and “perfect” as grocery store produce, but we make up for its physical imperfections in superior flavor and quality. You’ll also have the peace of mind knowing your produce is grown without any pesticides or synthetic chemicals. We hope you enjoy the weird and wonderful produce that our earth creates!
