Keio University Faculty of Economics and the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (known more simply as “Sciences Po”) have entered an Agreement on a Double B.A. Program dated Sept. 13, 2011. Students from both universities taking part in this Program will study together for three and a half years in two countries and campuses, and on satisfying the graduation requirements of both institutions, will be awarded two B.A. degrees. After graduation, they will have the further option of advancing to the M.A. programs at Sciences Po. Through this Program, we aim to cultivate next-generation leaders who will be equipped with a rich international awareness and broad learning as well as specialist knowledge in the field of economics.

This double degree agreement stems from the desire of its signatories, the two institutions mentioned above, in the spirit of European co-operation, to set up and develop a system of academic exchange. One more double-degree program became available to Polytechnic University students: in the end of October, an agreement on its implementation was signed between SPbPU and the Hochschule Stralsund - University of Applied Sciences (HOST, Germany). Starting with 2019, students of the Higher School of Service and Trade of Institute of Industrial Management, Economics and Trade (IIMET), and students of the German university will be able to study by the “International Trade” educational program in the field of “Commerce” at two universities, and in case of successful graduation, they will receive two diplomas: of SPbPU and HOST.
