This project was postponed in 2017 awaiting adequate funding. Project funding comes from Highway, Water, Wastewater, and Sidewalk capital accounts. The total engineering fee for the project is $69,950. As you can see in the agreement, Item 8 is the on-site Construction Review Services and is estimated at $54,700. The majority of the design is complete being partially funded last year. This project is scheduled to bid in mid-February.

Authority OKs agreement to work on Rt. 381 project plans

The Fayette County Redevelopment Authority on Tuesday approved an engineering agreement between the authority and an engineering firm to continue working on design plans for the Route 381 transportation project in Ohiopyle. Ohiopyle Borough is already using a $1.3 million federal grant through the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) for the project that is designed to clean and control the flow of storm water runoff entering the Youghiogheny River from Ohiopyle.
