This policy sets out the terms and conditions of access to and use of the wireless network access for personal devices (herein referred to as the “Guest Network”), including acceptable and appropriate use. Users connecting to the network agree to the conditions set out here, understand that this policy authorizes access to wifi only and is subject to conditions set by WCDSB. Users are prohibited from connecting to the local area network (LAN) using a cable of any sort.

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) wireless network access, for non-WCDSB owned equipment, is available to students, staff and visitors (herein referred to as the “users”). The wireless network provides users with an internet connection point for personal devices that are to be used for educational purposes during the school day. Access to, and use of, the network through personal devices shall be compliant with the terms of this agreement. This agreement sets out the terms and conditions of access to, and use of, the wireless network access for personal devices (herein referred to as the “Guest Network”), including acceptable and appropriate use and is between the user and the WCDSB. This agreement provides access to the wireless network only. Users at no time have permission to connect to the local area network (LAN) using a cable of any sort.
