The City of Fredericksburg is seeking to extend our fiber optic telecommunications network to connect the City’s existing network to the new middle school under construction at the intersection of Idlewild Boulevard and Gateway Boulevard (GPIN 7768-89-4502). Specifically, the City will need to extend from the current network to the intersection of Route 3 / Plank Road and Gateway Boulevard. The Fredericksburg City Public Schools plans to construct new infrastructure that will connect the new school to the City’s network at that point.
