Approval to Construct definition

Approval to Construct or “ATC” means the record produced by the regulatory authority approving the construction of a food establishment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Approval to Construct means the written approval issued by the Department or the Department’s designee to an applicant or recipient indicating that project construction may begin.
Approval to Construct means an ADEQ approval to construct a proposed wastewater collection, treatment, storage, or disposal facility, or sewer line extensions or line replacements, issued pursuant to A.A.C. R18-9-804.

Related to Approval to Construct

  • New construction means, for the purposes of determining insurance rates, structures for which the "start of construction" commenced on or after the effective date of an initial FIRM or after December 31, 1974, whichever is later, and includes any subsequent improvements to such structures. For floodplain management purposes, "new construction" means structures for which the "start of construction" commenced on or after the effective date of the floodplain management regulations adopted by a community and includes any subsequent improvements to such structures.

  • Vertical construction means the construction or remodeling of any building, structure or other improvement that is predominantly vertical, including, without limitation, a building, structure or improvement for the support, shelter and enclosure of persons, animals, chattels or movable property of any kind, and any improvement appurtenant thereto.

  • Original construction means the first or initial construction

  • Existing construction means any structure for which the "start of construction" commenced before the effective date of the initial floodplain management code or ordinance adopted by the community as a basis for that community's participation in the NFIP.

  • Commencement of Construction means the commencement of construction of foundation components or elements (such as footings, rafts or piles) for the home.
