Base Number definition

Base Number means the number derived from dividing $100 by the Initial Common Stock Price.
Base Number means the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers, United States City Average, All Items (1982-84=100), issued by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States Department of Labor (hereinafter called the "Index") for the month immediately prior to the period in question; and "Current Number" shall mean the latest Index published for the last month of the period in question by the Bureau of Labor Statistics or other governmental agency then publishing the Index (or if the Index is no longer published, the index of consumer prices reasonably deemed by Landlord to be comparable to the Index), after making such adjustments as may be prescribed by the agency publishing the same or as otherwise so deemed to be required to compensate for changes subsequent to January 1, 1984 in the base, items included or method of compilation thereof.
Base Number has the meaning set forth in Section 1.01(b) of this Agreement.

Examples of Base Number in a sentence

  • Based on this information, the Base Number of Assisted Households and the Guaranteed Rental Assistance Amount will be confirmed by CMHC and will be fixed for the Term of the Agreement, except as provided in Schedule “B” Part II (D) and Part II (E) below.

Base Number means, with respect to a Component (as defined in the Collar Confirmation), the Number of Shares (as defined in the Collar Confirmation) for such Component.
Base Number means: • With respect to the Performance Goal for the Company's fiscal year ending December 31, 2012, the number determined by averaging (1) and (2) in I. above. • With respect to the Performance Goal for each of the Company's fiscal year ending December 31, 2013, December 31, 2014, December 31, 2015 and December 31, 2016, eight percent (8%).
Base Number means the index number immediately preceding the month in which falls the first day of the prior lease period, for which the rent is being calculated. The term "Current Number" means the index number immediately preceding the month in which falls the date of commencement of the particular Lease Period. If the latest Current Number exceeds the Base Number, then the Fixed Minimum Rent for the next Lease Period shall be increased to an amount which is the product obtained by multiplying the Fixed Minimum Rent set forth in Section 2.02 of this lease by a fraction, the numerator of which fraction is such latest Current Number and the denominator of which fraction is the Base Number. Such increased Fixed Minimum Rent shall be effective throughout the Lease Period next following such latest Current Number. The basic or minimum rental for each year of the extended time shall not be less than the amount of rent being paid during the prior lease year. As used herein, the term "Lease Period" means the First Lease Period which is 12 months and each consecutive period, except that if the commencement date of the Lease Term is a day other than the first day of a calendar month, then the first lease Period shall include the number of days beginning with such commencement date and ending on the last day of such month. This Section 2.03 shall apply to the Item #2 & #3 of section 2.
Base Number shall have the meaning set forth in Section 1.5(a)(i).
Base Number means the Consumer Price Index number applicable to the January 1 next following the Commencement Date. The term "Current Number applicable to a calendar year" means the latest Consumer Price Index number published for the month of January (or if no Consumer Price Index is published for January then for the next succeeding month) of each, respective calendar year occurring subsequent to the first anniversary of the Commencement Date. If the latest Current Number applicable to a calendar year exceeds the Base Number, then the new amount of the Non-Electric Portion effective January 1 of each calendar year shall be obtained by multiplying the original amount thereof at the time of execution and delivery of the Lease by a fraction, the numerator of which is the Current Number applicable to any calendar year and the denominator of which is the Base Number; provided, however, that in no event shall the Environmental Charge ever be less than the amount specified in Article 1 of the Lease.
