Building Works definition

Building Works means erection or re-erection/modification including complete or partial demolition of a building including full or partial thereof or making additions and alterations to an existing building.
Building Works means building work including mechanical and electrical installations in buildings and civil engineering works ancillary to building works, such as earthworks, basements, reticulations (stormwater, sewer and water), roads, paving, reservoirs, towers and the like
Building Works means any of the following works:

Examples of Building Works in a sentence

  • Each party agrees to undertake or do all acts, matters and things required of it under, or contemplated by, this contract in a timely manner and to provide all reasonable assistance to the other party to assist in the timely completion of the Building Works and Completion of this contract.

  • The Buyer must not take possession of the Building Works or the Site without the Developer's consent until the Contract Price has been paid in full to the Developer.

  • The Developer must ensure the Buyer obtains on and from Completion the benefit of the residential building works insurance required by the Building ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ (ACT) in respect of the Building Works by delivering evidence to the Buyer on Completion.

  • All work to be carried out in accordance with the Ministry of Roads, Public Works and Housing General Specifications for Building Works issued in 1976 or as qualified or amended.

  • The Buyer may, within 5 days of notification of the Date for Completion under clause 8.2, inspect the Building Works and provide the Developer with a list of defects in relation to the Building and in this respect time is of the essence.


More Definitions of Building Works

Building Works means any work carried out on the Land including, excavation, construction and fencing. Completed means the relevant Building Works have been constructed and completed in accordance with this Contract (including the Design Guidelines and Estate Covenants), the terms of any approvals given and to the reasonable satisfaction of the DAP. Consultant includes a valuer, architect, builder, energy efficiency consultant, lawyer and/or landscape architect. DAP means the design assessment panel appointed by the Seller.
Building Works means building work including mechanical and electrical installations in buildings
Building Works means building works, or the supply of related goods or services, done, required to done, or permitted to be done under or in connection with this by-law, and includes (without limitation) the Installation.
Building Works means the building works to be carried out, completed and handed over to the owner in accordance with this contract as shown in the contract documents, and shall include all variations;
Building Works means any building works to which Part II applies;
Building Works means the design and construction of the works required to carry out the Development, to be carried out by the Developer as described in the Approved Plans;
Building Works for above purposes means permanent buildings of two or more floors with all building shell and interiors works including but not limited to all services, utilities, electrical, HVAC, internal landscaping, parking, facade lighting, Green Building Certification etc.
