Cooperating Library definition

Cooperating Library means any library physically located in the United States and organized as or within a not-for-profit or government entity that (a) has signed or signs a Digitization Agreement with Google not later than two (2) years after the Effective Date (unless an extension of such time is approved by the Registry),
Cooperating Library means any library physically located in the United States and organized as or within a not-for-profit or government entity that (a) has signed or signs a Digitization Agreement with Google not later than two (2) years after the Effective Date (unless an extension of such time is approved by the Registry), (b) provides Books to Google for Digitization but agrees that Google will not provide to such library a Digital Copy of such Books unless otherwise authorized by the Rightsholder, (c) agrees to delete or permanently render unusable promptly any Digital Copies of Books previously provided by Google to such library or that such library receives from Google in the future, and (d) enters into a Library-Registry (Cooperating) Agreement.

Examples of Cooperating Library in a sentence

  • The Minister will be off and relieved of all responsibilities on at least one Sunday per month, in addition to Sundays while on vacation and study leave.

  • Google will use the process set forth in Section 3.2(d) of the Settlement Agreement to classify each work as Commercially Available or not and to correct mistakes made in initially classifying a work as Commercially Available (including when notified in writing by a Fully Participating Library or a Cooperating Library of any purported misclassification) in accordance with the terms of the Settlement Agreement.

  • If any Fully Participating Library or Cooperating Library notifies Google in writing that it believes in good faith that a work may have been mistakenly classified as Commercially Available, or that the work may no longer be Commercially Available, Google will evaluate such information and, if in its reasonable judgment it concurs, notify the Registry to properly classify such work.

  • Any Fully Participating Library and Cooperating Library may also agree to such a waiver in its Digitization Agreement with Google or upon notice to Google, in which event Google shall notify the Registry of such waiver.

  • These libraries agree to provide Books to Google, but do not agree to become a Fully Participating Library, a Cooperating Library or a Public Domain Library.

  • Google shall notify the Registry when it has identified a library that wishes to become a Fully Participating Library or a Cooperating Library.

  • Library means an organized collection of resources made accessible to the public for reference or borrowing supported with money derived from taxation.
