DHE Usage Rules definition

DHE Usage Rules means the content usage rules applicable to each DHE Included Program available on the DHE Service, as set forth in the attached Schedule C-2.
DHE Usage Rules shall include the following: o Consumers must authenticate prior to being granted content access rights and prior to downloading content for disconnected usage scenarios. o To authenticate, a consumer must supply a unique username and password combination. o To protect against fraud, the username and password must be tied to an account and grant either: 1) access to credit card information, or 2) purchasing authority. o For devices with limited consumer interface capabilities (such as portables), authentication may be accomplished through a more robust device (such as a PC) that is connected to the limited device.
DHE Usage Rules shall include the following:

Examples of DHE Usage Rules in a sentence

  • Paragraph (xi) of Schedule D-2 (DHE Usage Rules) shall be amended and restated in its entirety as follows: The DHE Service shall be configured to make available to a Customer (or, as applicable, Customer Account) no more than three (3) streams in the aggregate of any DHE Included Programs at any one time.

  • Licensee may enable Digital Locker Functionality for DHE Included Programs subject to the DHE Usage Rules and the Content Protection Requirements and Obligations set forth in Schedule B-2.

  • Licensor shall have the right to notify Licensee in writing from time-to-time that the DHE Usage Rules shall be changed by a date certain to all DHE Included Programs (each, a “DHE Update”); provided, however that Licensor shall not exercise such right of notification to frustrate the purposes of this Agreement or in a manner intended to materially commercially disadvantage Licensee vis-à-vis Other VOD Distributors in the Territory.

  • Licensor shall have the right to notify Licensee in writing from time-to-time that the DHE Usage Rules applicable to an Approved Format or Approved Device shall be changed by a date certain to all DHE Included Programs (each, an “Update”).

  • For the avoidance of doubt, such Technical Credits shall apply only to file formats and copy protection systems for which DHE Usage Rules do not permit the DHE Customer to maintain multiple or moveable personal copies of the DHE Included Programs.

  • In the event the Agreement is (a) terminated by Licensee pursuant to Section 18.2 of Schedule A, (b) terminated by either party pursuant to Section 18.3 of Schedule A or (c) expires, then Licensee’s right to enable Digital Locker Functionality for DHE Included Programs shall survive (subject to the terms of this Agreement, the DHE Usage Rules and Content Protection Obligations Requirements (as set forth in Schedule C)) for up to ten (10) years following any such expiration or termination.

  • In the event the Agreement is (a) terminated by Licensee pursuant to Section 18.2 of Schedule A or (b) expires, then Licensee’s right to enable Virtual Storage Functionality for such DHE Included Programs shall survive (subject at all times to the terms of this Agreement, including, without limitation, the DHE Usage Rules and Content Protection Requirements) for up to five (5) years following any such expiration or termination.

  • Licensee may enable Digital Locker Functionality for DHE Included Programs subject to the DHE Usage Rules and the Content Protection Requirements set forth in .


More Definitions of DHE Usage Rules

DHE Usage Rules for a DHE Included Program in the DHE Approved Format set forth under subsection (a) of the definition of DHE Approved Format above, shall mean that for the payment of one DHE Customer Price, Licensee may permit a DHE Customer to have a DHE Included Program and its associated Playback Licenses active on (i.e., viewable on), any Domain Device within the DHE Customer’s DomainApproved Device in accordance with the specific DHE Usage Rules set forth in Schedule B-3. DHE Included Programs delivered via a DHE Approved Transmission Means to a Domain Device shall be viewable an unlimited number of times on such Domain DeviceApproved Devices. For a DHE Included Program in a DHE Approved Format set forth under subsection (b) of the definition of DHE Approved Format above, “DHE Usage Rules” shall mean such rules as shall be negotiated in good faith between the parties. Licensor acknowledges that the DHE Service, DHE Approved Format and DRM will enable DHE Customers to copy and transfer encrypted files for DHE Included Programs for backup and recovery purposes, which encrypted files are not playable on their own and require a valid Playback License (which may be obtained by DHE Customers and issued by the DHE Service only as specified in this Agreement) to be viewable. The following definition shall be inserted as a new 1.12:
DHE Usage Rules means such rules as shall be negotiated in good faith between the parties. Licensor acknowledges that the DHE Service, DHE Approved Format and DRM will enable DHE Customers to copy and transfer encrypted files for DHE Included Programs for backup and recovery purposes, which encrypted files are not playable on their own and require a valid Playback License (which may be obtained by DHE Customers and issued by the DHE Service only as specified in this Agreement) to be viewable.
DHE Usage Rules means the following: Registration of Devices
DHE Usage Rules means the requirements applicable to DHE Included Programs set forth in Schedule D-2, attached hereto.

Related to DHE Usage Rules

  • ISO-NE Rules means all rules and procedures adopted by NEPOOL, ISO-NE, or the RTO, and governing wholesale power markets and transmission in New England, as such rules may be amended from time to time, including but not limited to, the ISO-NE Tariff, the ISO-NE Operating Procedures (as defined in the ISO-NE Tariff), the ISO-NE Planning Procedures (as defined in the ISO-NE Tariff), the Transmission Operating Agreement (as defined in the ISO-NE Tariff), the Participants Agreement, the manuals, procedures and business process documents published by ISO-NE via its web site and/or by its e-mail distribution to appropriate NEPOOL participants and/or NEPOOL committees, as amended, superseded or restated from time to time.

  • Applicable Rules means Section 10D of the Exchange Act, Rule 10D-1 promulgated thereunder, the listing rules of the national securities exchange or association on which the Company’s securities are listed, and any applicable rules, standards or other guidance adopted by the Securities and Exchange Commission or any national securities exchange or association on which the Company’s securities are listed.

  • the Rules means the Insolvency Rules 1986 (as amended);
