Enabling Works definition

Enabling Works means the following and similar activities; demolition and/or removal of existing buildings and structures, fencing, tree felling (except as subject to specific conditions of this consent) and removal of any associated underground or above ground services.
Enabling Works means (i) surveying, (ii) environmental and hazardous substance testing and sampling (including the making of trial boreholes, window sampling and test pits in connection with such testing and sampling), (iii) soil tests, (iv) pegging out, (v) tree protection, (vi) archaeological investigation and
Enabling Works those Transmission Reinforcement Works which are specified in Appendix H Part 1 to this Construction Agreement.

Examples of Enabling Works in a sentence

  • On or before Commencement, SZC Co shall (in consultation with the ESEWG) produce or commission a Workforce Delivery Strategy in respect of the Site Operations / Site Services / Enabling Works Phase.

  • If in Egg’s opinion any element of the Enabling Works procured by You from a third party is inadequate or not fit for purpose, Egg reserves the right to charge You for any rectification to such Enabling Works as is necessary and for the costs of any resulting delay.

  • All Enabling Works required for the construction of the Works including working platforms in mangroves and creek, casting yards, temporary jetty and temporary access roads shall be provided by the Contractor at his own cost and remove after completion of permanent works.

  • Prior to the commencement of above ground works for each development phase hereby permitted (excluding Demolition, Ground and Enabling Works) a revised Energy Strategy for that phase shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.

  • Prior to commencement of any residential building hereby permitted (excluding Demolition, Ground and Enabling Works) above ground level within a Phase hereby permitted, a scheme detailing the play equipment, boundary treatments and ground surface treatment of the outdoor play spaces, for that part of the development shall be submitted to the Local Planning Authority and approved in writing.

Enabling Works has the meaning given to it in the relevant Special Conditions.
Enabling Works means (i) surveying, (ii) environmental and hazardous substance testing and sampling (including the making of trial boreholes, window sampling and test pits in connection with such testing and sampling), (iii) soil tests, (iv) pegging out, (v) tree protection, (vii) ecological survey and mitigation works, (vii) archaeological investigation and (vi) demolition and removal of buildings and other structures on the Site or similar related works.
Enabling Works. : means preparation works to make the Site ready for construction. Such works include (but are not exclusive to): Site or ground clearance; construction of temporary accesses and/or highway works to facilitate the carrying out of the development; archaeology; ecological surveys, investigations or assessments; site preparation; construction of boundary fencing or hoardings including for site security; provision of underground drainage and sewers; the laying and diversion of other services and service mediums; erection of temporary facilities for security personnel; the erection of security cameras; excavation; interim landscaping works; construction of temporary internal roads; erection of fencing, gates or enclosures, installation of CCTV or other works or operations to enable any of these works to take place including site and ground works.
Enabling Works means preparation works to make the Site ready for construction. Such works include (but are not exclusively limited to): surveying, environmental and hazardous substance testing and sampling, soil tests, remediation works, pegging out, tree protection, ecological survey and mitigation works, archaeological investigation, site or ground clearance and preparation, ground improvement works, construction of boundary fencing or hoardings including for site security, demolition and removal of buildings and other structures, creation of temporary haul roads and enabling works accesses or other works or operations to enable any of these works to take place including site and ground works.
Enabling Works has the meaning given to it in paragraph 8.2 of Schedule 6.2 (Northern Franchise Specific Provisions);
Enabling Works means the planning permission granted under application ref: 18/00215/FUL (as varied by application ref: 18/00419/VAR) for the enabling works to facilitate the future development of plot PDZ.1.1 as identified within the Legacy Communities Scheme (ref: 11/90621/OUTODA).
