Exceptional Performance definition

Exceptional Performance means that the employee, on his/her own initiative and by his/her own efforts and abilities, rendered service or produced a result(s) far superior to that normally expected of employees in the classification. 5806 “Exceptional Performance” does not include unusual acts or results which are caused by unusual conditions beyond the control of the employee to which he/she demonstrated a normal reaction under the circumstances. 5807 Following are some examples of the kinds of performances that may be considered as constituting “exceptional service”.

More Definitions of Exceptional Performance

Exceptional Performance designates an overall “model practice” with respect to its CSTP and its Elements within that particular domain of teaching. It may represent “innovative” practice as outlined in the Continuum of Teaching Practices and may be considered useful to observe for mentoring and coaching purposes. “Meets District Standards” designates the ability to successfully integrate the elements of each CSTP. “Improvement Needed” designates the ability to successfully integrate the elements of most CSTPs whereas “Does not meet District Standards” designates a lack of ability to successfully integrate most of the CSTPs.
