Extended Assignment definition

Extended Assignment has the meaning given in Clause 4.2.
Extended Assignment shall have the meaning set out in clause 5.2. group: in relation to a company, that company, each and any subsidiary or holding company from time to time of that company, and each and any subsidiary from time to time of a holding company of that company.

Examples of Extended Assignment in a sentence

  • An Off-Location Extended Assignment is defined as Company-required travel involving a period of more than 24 hours.

  • The option of the Extended Assignment shall not be available to the Client where the Temporary Worker operates as a limited liability company that has opted out of the Conduct Regulations.

  • If, after a Temporary Worker is Directly Engaged by the Client on a fixed term employment basis (other than following an Extended Assignment), and the fixed term (or any subsequent fixed term) is extended, or the Temporary Worker accepts a direct assignment or employment with the Client, the Client shall pay a further Transfer Fee (or Transfer Fees in the case of multiple extensions).

  • If the Client elects for an Extended Assignment but engages the Temporary Worker before the end of the Extended Assignment, the Transfer Fee will be charged by PCMC, reduced proportionately to reflect the amount of the Extended Assignment paid for by the Client.

  • The Introduction Fee will not be payable, if the Client gives written notice to the Employment Business that it intends to continue the hire of the Temporary Worker for a further period (Extended Assignment) specified in the Schedule before it Engages the Temporary Worker other than through the Employment Business.

  • If, after a Temporary Worker is Directly Engaged by the Client on a fixed term employment basis (other than following an Extended Assignment), and the fixed term (or any subsequent fixed term) is extended, or the Temporary Worker accepts permanent employment with the Client, the Client shall pay a further Transfer Fee (or Transfer Fees in the case of multiple extensions).

  • You won’t have to pay the Introduction Fee if you write to us and let us know that you intend to continue to hire our Contractor for a further period of three months (Extended Assignment) before you permanently employ the Contractor.

  • If the Client elects for an Extended Assignment, but engages the Temporary Worker before the end of the Extended Assignment, the Transfer Fee will be charged by RW, reduced proportionately to reflect the amount of the Extended Assignment paid for by the Client.

  • Extended Assignment Substitutes as practiced to fulfill a teacher on leave for one full semester or equivalent of up to 90 days, anything greater than that would in most cases switch to ITA as a Long Term Substitute (LTS) based on having certification.

  • At the conclusion of each Combined Contiguous Extended Assignment, the bargaining unit member will be retroactively remunerated for the difference between their original wage rate and the rates outlined in the table below for just those days worked under the SUB's collective bargaining agreement.

Related to Extended Assignment

  • term assignment means, in relation to an employee, i. a term assignment within the meaning of the local collective agreement, or

  • Qualified assignment agreement means an agreement providing for a qualified assignment within the meaning of section 130 of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Permitted Assignment means a Permitted Subsidiary Assignment or a Permitted Third-Party Assignment.
