Certificate of Occupancy means a certificate of occupancy, governmental sign-off or other document, permit or approval (whether conditional, unconditional, temporary or permanent) which must be obtained by Landlord from the appropriate governmental authority as a condition to the lawful initial occupancy by Tenant of the Premises.
Temporary Certificate of Occupancy means a certificate issued pursuant to subdivision (d) of section 7 of this local law.
Transient occupancy means occupancy in transient lodging that has all of the following
Single Room Occupancy or “SRO” means housing consisting of single room dwelling units that is the primary residence of its occupant or occupants. An SRO does not include facilities for students.
Certificate of Substantial Completion means the certificate executed by the Design Professional, Owner, and Contractor that documents to the best of the Design Professional’s and Owner’s knowledge and understanding, Contractor’s sufficient completion of the Work in accordance with the Contract, so as to be operational and fit for the use intended.
