In addition to the First Class Mailed Notice and the Publication Notice described above, within 30 days after receiving preliminary approval of the Settlement Agreement, the Parties agree to publish the Long Form Notice on the websites of Random House, Inc.
Within 21 days after the Effective Date (provided no appeals are filed regarding the Approval Order or any appeals are resolved in favor of this Agreement), the Settlement Claims Administrator shall send via First Class U.S. Mail, all Notice Packets to the Potential Opt-In Plaintiffs, along with an enclosed, postage-paid return envelope for Notice Packets sent by U.S. Mail.
All travel itineraries and supporting documentation will be sent via email when available, otherwise paper documents will be sent via First Class Mail.
In order for any Potential Opt-In Plaintiff to receive any monetary proceeds from the settlement, the Settlement Claims Administrator must receive their properly-executed, and completed Consent to Join and Release Form by e-mail, fax, or web portal submission within 60 days (or, if sent by U.S. First Class Mail, postmarked no later than Claim Bar Date, unless otherwise agreed by the parties).
There shall not be any grade change associated with employee’s designation as Police Officer First Class.
