Foreign Governmental Entity definition

Foreign Governmental Entity means any foreign Governmental Entity, any political subdivision thereof, or any corporation or other entity owned or controlled in whole or in part by any Governmental Entity or any sovereign wealth fund, excluding entities related to the government of the United States.
Foreign Governmental Entity means any non-United States Governmental Entity.
Foreign Governmental Entity means any non-United States governmental, regulatory or administrative authority, agency, instrumentality or commission or any court, tribunal, or judicial or arbitral body or self-regulated entity.

  • No power of attorney has been granted by or with respect to the Company or any Subsidiary with respect to any matter relating to Taxes which is still in effect, and neither the Company nor any Subsidiary has received from any federal, state, local or Foreign Governmental Entity (including in jurisdictions where the Company has not filed a Tax Return) any written request for information related to Tax matters which has not been fulfilled as of the date hereof.

  • Local governmental entity means a county, municipality, school district, junior college district, or other political subdivision of this state or a local government corporation, board, commission, district, or authority to which a member is appointed by the commissioners court of a county, the mayor of a municipality, or the governing body of a municipality. The term does not include an association, corporation, or organization of governmental entities organized to provide to its members education, assistance, products, or services or to represent its members before the legislative, administrative, or judicial branches of the state or federal government.

  • Relevant Governmental Body means the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, or a committee officially endorsed or convened by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, or any successor thereto.
