Functional Program definition

Functional Program has the meaning set out in Section 2.2 of Schedule 3 [Design and Construction Specifications];
Functional Program has the meaning set out in Schedule 6 [Specifications and Drawings];
Functional Program means a multi-purpose document that describes, in detail, the proposed services to be addressed in a capital project, specifying human, technical, and building resources necessary to function as intended. Overall, the functional program documents the scope of services, objectives and basic operational description of each component to be addressed in a capital project, workload and staffing of the components, together with an estimate and description of the facility resources (space) required to support them. It provides a comprehensive understanding of the activities and the functional needs of each component, and the relationships between the components which must be accommodated within the capital project, as well as the relation of the capital project components to the broader systems external to it.

Examples of Functional Program in a sentence

  • The Audio Visual Requirements are generally used in the early stages of a facilities project, along with the Functional Program and/or Project Plan, to align various stakeholders around a common, high-­‐level vision of a given space.

More Definitions of Functional Program

Functional Program means a program that sets out the fundamental objectives of the Project including descriptions of each space (area, finishes, environmental requirements, security, communications, power, specialized equipment, purpose for each required space, etc.) and relationships between spaces for all areas on the Project Site whether inside or outside the buildings. The gross area is established to inform the total area of the buildings.
Functional Program has the meaning set out in section 2.2.2 of this Schedule; “Indicative Design” has the meaning set out in Section 2.2 of this Schedule; “Indicative Equipment List” means the equipment list located in the Data Room;

Related to Functional Program

  • Training program means an NCA-approved Iowa college, the Iowa law enforcement academy or an Iowa hospital approved by the department to conduct emergency medical care training.
