Ground Handling Functions definition

Ground Handling Functions shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 4.02.
Ground Handling Functions means the ground handling functions performed in connection with the Regional Airline Services, including, but not limited to, the following: (i) gate check-in activities, (ii) passenger enplaning/deplaning activities, (iii) sky cap and wheelchair services, (iv) aircraft loading/unloading services, included but not limited to airside busing, (v) passenger ticketing, (vi) jetbridge maintenance, (vii) janitorial services, (viii) deicing services, (ix) pushback, tow or taxi, (x) airstarts, and (xi) aircraft overnight cleaning, including lavatory service and water service, but excluding turn cleaning unless otherwise directed by Delta.

Examples of Ground Handling Functions in a sentence

  • At a Contracted Service City, the Ground Handling Functions shall be provided utilizing a contract agent.

  • Delta at its option may: (i) perform all Ground Handling Functions directly, (ii) contract with Pinnacle pursuant to the Airport Services Master Agreement between Pinnacle as Handling Company and Delta dated as of December 2, 2008, as amended from time to time or (iii) sub-contract performance of the Ground Handling Functions to an Affiliate of Delta or a third party vendor, or a combination of any of the foregoing.

  • At Northwest Service Cities, Northwest shall provide Pinnacle with the Ground Handling Functions pursuant to Section 4.02 hereof utilizing Northwest’s owned and/or leased premises and equipment (including jetbridges) located thereon.

  • With respect to the Scheduled Flights and Charter Flights, Delta shall be responsible for all Ground Handling Functions at all Service Cities.

  • In the event Northwest exercises its right, pursuant to Section 4.02, to have a Northwest-designated contract agent perform the Ground Handling Functions in a Contracted Service City, Northwest shall be solely responsible for all facilities and equipment requirements.

  • At Pinnacle Service Cities, Pinnacle shall be solely responsible for all of its facilities and equipment requirements, excluding jetbridges, which shall be the responsibility of Northwest; provided, however, if Northwest owns and/or leases facilities at a Pinnacle Service City and elects to provide Ground Handling Functions to Pinnacle pursuant to Section 4.02, Northwest shall provide such services utilizing Northwest’s owned and/or leased premises and equipment (including jetbridges) located thereon.

  • At Pinnacle Service Cities, Pinnacle shall provide the Ground Handling Functions.

  • At SkyWest Service Cities, SkyWest shall be solely responsible for all of its facilities and equipment requirements; provided, however, if Midwest owns and/or leases facilities at a SkyWest Service City and elects to provide Ground Handling Functions to SkyWest pursuant to Section 4.02, Midwest shall provide such services utilizing Midwest’s owned and/or leased premises and equipment (including jetbridges where applicable) located thereon.

  • Should a city be designated as a SkyWest Service City or a Contracted Service City, Midwest and SkyWest shall mutually agree on the cost per turn (cycle) and Pass-Through Expenses that Midwest will pay for the Ground Handling Functions and Exhibits 5.03(b) and 5.06 shall be amended to reflect the terms of such agreement.

  • In the event Midwest exercises its right, pursuant to Section 4.02, to have a Midwest-designated contract agent perform the Ground Handling Functions in a Contracted Service City, Midwest shall be solely responsible for all facilities and equipment requirements.

Related to Ground Handling Functions

  • School function means any school-sponsored extra-curricular event or activity.

  • Trustee Functions means the functions set out in paragraph 6;

  • critical functions means activities, services or operations the discontinuance of which is likely in one or more Member States, to lead to the disruption of services that are essential to the real economy or to disrupt financial stability due to the size, market share, external and internal interconnectedness, complexity or cross-border activities of an institution or group, with particular regard to the substitutability of those activities, services or operations;

  • Servicing Function Participant Any Additional Servicer, Sub-Servicer, Subcontractor or any other Person, other than the Certificate Administrator, the Operating Advisor, the Master Servicer, the Special Servicer and the Trustee, that is performing activities that address the Servicing Criteria, unless such Person’s activities relate only to 5% or less of the Mortgage Loans by unpaid principal balance calculated in accordance with the provisions of Regulation AB.

  • Safety-sensitive function means all time from the time a driver begins to work or is required to be in readiness to work until the time he/she is relieved from work and all responsibility for performing work.
