Hiring Practices definition

Hiring Practices means activities related to the retention of an Employee or Applicant including, but not limited to, selection, hiring, promotion, transfer, reassignment, lay- off, recall, and termination. “Hiring Practices” does not include the awarding of shifts, breaks, dress code, or other activities unrelated to the retention of an Employee or Applicant.

Examples of Hiring Practices in a sentence

  • The parties and the Crown agree to meet to discuss Hiring Practices (Regulation 274) within thirty (30) days of the ratification of this agreement, with a facilitator jointly selected by the parties.

  • If the teacher desires, he/she may apply for voluntary transfer as per Article VIII, Hiring Practices.

  • If the holdover employee declines, the overtime assignment shall be hired according to the Urgent Hiring Practice contained in the Overtime Hiring Practices Book.

Related to Hiring Practices

  • Good Manufacturing Practices means current good manufacturing practices, as set forth in 21 C.F.R. Parts 210 and 211.

  • Current Good Manufacturing Practices or “cGMP” means applicable Good Manufacturing Practices as specified in the United States Code of Federal Regulations and/or the EU Good Manufacturing Guidelines, and any successor legislation from time to time, prevailing at the time of the manufacture of the Product.
