Index Component definition

Index Component means those securities, assets or reference values of which the Index is comprised from time to time.
Index Component means, with respect to the Securities, any of the futures contracts on physical commodities that comprise the Index.
Index Component means, with respect to the Securities, the 5-year Treasury futures contracts underlying the Index, as traded on CBOT, as described in the Prospectus.

  • If such a postponement occurs, the Calculation Agent shall determine the value of the Index Components unaffected by the Market Disruption Event by using the closing value of such Index Component or Index Components on the scheduled Valuation Date and shall determine the value of any affected Index Component by using the closing value of such Index Component on the first Trading Day after that day on which no Market Disruption Event occurs or is continuing with respect to such Index Component.

  • The Calculation Agent shall have the right to postpone a Valuation Date, and thus the determination of the value of the Index, if the Calculation Agent determines that, on such Valuation Date, a Market Disruption Event occurs or is continuing in respect of any Index Component.

  • Accordingly, if the method of calculating the Index Component is modified so that the value of the Index Component is a fraction or a multiple of what it would have been if it had not been modified, e.g., due to a split, then the Calculation Agent shall adjust the Index Component in order to arrive at a value of the Index Component as if it had not been modified, e.g., as if the split had not occurred.

  • Natixis may conduct transactions on any Index Component or the Index, either through hedging or otherwise.

  • If a Merger Event or Tender Offer occurs in relation to an Index Component or the issuer of an Index Component or if a De-Listing or a Nationalisation occurs in relation to an Index Component, the Calculation Agent will determine the Merger Date, Tender Offer Date or effective date (each an "Effective Date"), if any, for such event and the Closing Price for such Index Component on the day one Scheduled Trading Day prior to the Effective Date.


More Definitions of Index Component

Index Component means, with respect to the Securities, any of the futures contracts underlying the Index.
Index Component means, with respect to the Securities, the futures contract on the commodity of cotton that comprises the Index.
Index Component means, in relation to the Underlying, an asset or a reference value which is incorporated in the calculation of the Underlying at the relevant time.
Index Component means each component specified in Annex 1 hereto.
Index Component means in respect of an Index, any shares, equity options or other component comprised in such Index. If the Index itself comprises or includes one or more other Indices, "Index Component" shall be read and construed as the relevant underlying shares, equity options or other components.
Index Component means (i) an Equity Instrument, (ii) a Commodity Instrument, (iii) a Debt Instrument, (iv) a Derivatives and Other Instrument, (v) Market Data and/or (vi) an Underlying SGI Index. For the avoidance of doubt, Index Components other than an Underlying SGI Index and Market Data are Basket Components. Please see chart in Annex 1.
Index Component means the Base Index, any of the Constituent Indices, the Reference Fixed Income Index, the Funding Component and the Reference Rate, as the context requires.
