Each payment of interest (in the case of Inflation Linked Interest Notes) and principal (in the case of Inflation Linked Redemption Notes) in respect of the Notes shall be the amount provided in, or determined in accordance with, these Terms and Conditions, multiplied by the Index Ratio or Limited Index Ratio in the case of Limited Index Linked Notes applicable to the month or date, as the case may be, on which such payment falls to be made and rounded in accordance with Condition 4(b)(v).
The Index Ratio for each Basket Index was set by (a) multiplying 1,000 by the applicable Index Weight and (b) dividing that product by the closing level of that Basket Index on the pricing date.
For purposes hereof, the condition set forth in clause (2) above shall be deemed not to exist if: the Exchange Ratio and/or the Per Share Cash Consideration is increased so that the Adjusted Parent Ratio is not less than the Index Ratio.
The Basket Level equals the sum of the products of the closing level and the Index Ratio for each Basket Index, as determined by the Calculation Agent.
The Index Ratio for each Basket Index is fixed as of the pricing date and is subject to change only if certain events or adjustments affect the relevant Basket Index, as described below.
