Launch Failure definition

Launch Failure means a Total Launch Failure or a Partial Launch Failure.
Launch Failure has the meaning given to such term in the Launch Services Contract.
Launch Failure means either (a) Total Failure or (b) Constructive Total Failure.

  • The Parties agree that the Reflight Launch Option is exercisable only in the event of a Launch Failure due to the Falcon launch vehicle.

More Definitions of Launch Failure

Launch Failure means a Satellite Failure or Transponder Failure which occurs after the first intentional ignition of the launch vehicle and before the satellite becomes Commercially Operational.
Launch Failure has the meaning given to such term in the COFACE Facility Agreement.
Launch Failure means that the Satellite(s) loaded into the Launch Vehicle (i) is(are) destroyed or lost during the period extending from the instant when Intentional Ignition occurred to the instant the Satellite(s) is(are) separated from the Launch Vehicle; or (ii) cannot be separated from the Launch Vehicle; or (iii) is(are) destroyed or lost due to a post-separation collision of such Satellite(s) with Launch Vehicle or any part of it.
Launch Failure means: (a) that the Satellite is destroyed or lost during the period extending from Intentional Ignition to the instant when the Satellite is intended to separate from the Launch Vehicle, or if such Satellite does not separate from the Launch Vehicle; or (b) the operational capacity or nominal lifetime of the Satellite is expected to be reduced by more than 50% and it is determined from the flight data that the Launch Vehicle performed in a manner that damaged the Satellite which caused the reduction in capacity or lifetime.
Launch Failure means an event prior to the PAS-6B Delivery Date that results in the destruction of PAS-6B or the declaration of PAS-6B as a total loss (which includes a constructive total loss) under PanAmSat's launch and initial operations insurance policy for PAS-6B.
Launch Failure means the failure of the Company and/or one of its Subsidiaries (in partnership with Adeptra), within sixty (60) days from the Closing Date, to enter into a contract with one of the ten largest international financial institutions to provide SIM swapping fraud detection and prevention services to such financial institution in which the Company and/or one of its Subsidiaries receives net compensation of at least $1,000,000.
