Line Function Services definition

Line Function Services means the provision, maintenance and operation of Fittings for the conveyance of Electricity to Consumers’ Points of Supply in accordance with Good Industry Practice and includes Remote Signal Services and Remote Data Communication Services;
Line Function Services means the provision and maintenance of works for the conveyance of electricity and the operation of such works, including the control of voltage and assumption of responsibility for losses of electricity;
Line Function Services means “line function services” in relation to a “distribution system”, as those terms are defined in the Gas Act 1992.

Examples of Line Function Services in a sentence

  • Unless the Network User otherwise agrees in writing, the Distributor will only enter into a Line Function Services Agreement with a Consumer, if that Consumer has a supply capacity which exceeds 250kVA at the Consumer’s Point of Supply.

  • Following consultation with electricity retailers trading on the Network, any variations to the prices for the provision of Line Function Services or monthly MainPower Rebate will be subject to a minimum of twenty (20) working days’ notice in a recognised newspaper circulating in the Network area.

  • In the case of a service interruption, MainPower will endeavour in accordance with good electricity industry practice to restore Line Function Services as soon as reasonably practicable and for planned service interruptions within the timeframe set out in the notice sent to You by the Electricity Retailer.

  • The Retailer recognises that the Distributor will incur administrative costs in administering the Transpower component of Charges, (or Charges’) and that the Distributor’s reasonable costs will be recovered through the payment for Line Function Services.

  • The Electricity Retailer will notify You in accordance with the Electricity Retailer’s contract with You if variations to MainPower’s prices for the provision of Line Function Services or to the monthly MainPower Rebate will change what You pay to the Electricity Retailer for the supply of electricity on our Network.

  • In such circumstances, MainPower has authorised the Electricity Retailer to act on our behalf to create and effect the contractual relationship for the provision of Line Function Services between MainPower and You.

  • You may have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 and/or other laws (the ‘Acts’) in respect to MainPower’s supply of Line Function Services.

  • On receipt of a request to upgrade its Line Function Services or extend the Distribution Network, the Distributor will respond in writing within 5 Business Days of receipt of the request, either advising its decision, or providing a commitment of when its decision will be made (such decision to be made in a time frame that is in accordance with Good Industry Practice).

  • Where there is a change in pricing methodology the Distributor has the right to amend the Charges for Line Function Services after giving not less than 60 days written notice.

  • The Distributor has entered into a conveyance and use of system agreement (“Use of System Agreement”) with [insert name of the Network User] (“Network User”) under which the Distributor has agreed to provide Line Function Services and allow the Network User to use its Distribution Network.

Related to Line Function Services

  • Installation Services means all those services ancillary to the supply of the Plant for the Facilities, to be provided by the Contractor under the Contract, such as transportation and provision of marine or other similar insurance, inspection, expediting, site preparation works (including the provision and use of Contractor's Equipment and the supply of all construction materials required), installation, testing, pre- commissioning, commissioning, operations, maintenance, the provision of operations and maintenance manuals, training, etc…as the case may require.

  • Application Services means the hosted applications and related services as described in Exhibit A.

  • Hosting Services means the provision, administration, and maintenance of servers and related equipment, the provision of bandwidth at the hosting facility, and the operation of the Application for access by Customer Users to be provided by the relevant hosting service provider.

  • Information Services means the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board’s Electronic Municipal Market Access System; or, such other services providing information with respect to called municipal obligations as the District may specify in writing to the Paying Agent or as the Paying Agent may select.

  • Interconnection Service(s) means any Interconnection, Resale Services, 251(c)(3) UNEs, Collocation, functions, facilities, products or services offered under this Agreement.
