Machine Data definition

Machine Data means any digital representation of acts, facts or information and any compilation of such acts, facts or information, including in the form of sound, visual or audio-visual recording relating to the Products and/or Services, in particular, but not limited to, condition parameters (e.g. temperature, vibration), generated by the use, during maintenance, repair or non-use of the Product or by another device (e.g. sensor, meter whether embedded in the Products, external or remote).
Machine Data means any digital representation of acts, facts or information and any compilation of such acts, facts or information, including in the form of sound, visual or audio-visual recording relating to the Products, the Equipment and/or Services, in particular, but not limited to, condition parameters (e.g. temperature, vibration), generated by the use, during maintenance, repair or non-use of the Product, the Equipment or by another device (e.g. sensor, meter whether embedded in the Products, external or remote).
Machine Data means usage or status information collected by the Software or hardware that interfaces with the Software, such as information related to a computing device running the Software. Example machine data includes remaining usage time, network information (e.g., name or identifier), wireless signal strength, device identifier, software version, hardware version, device type, metadata associated with the operation of the Software, LED state, reboot cause, storage and memory availability or usage, power cycle count, and device up time.

  • Customer hereby instructs Philips to process Personal Data (to the extent Personal Data is included in the Machine Data) for or in relation to performing the Services to Customer and other obligations under this Agreement, and as necessary to comply with other reasonable instructions provided by Customer where such Instructions are consistent with the terms of this Agreement.

  • Buyer hereby agrees to secure and maintain all requisite rights that enable Seller and its affiliates to Process the Machine Data.

More Definitions of Machine Data

Machine Data means: (a) the machine-readable (raw) data collected from CUs and transmitted to the Data Platform and (b) the human-readable data processed from the raw data by the Telematics Services in the form of individual and aggregate data about an End-Customer’s Machines on status, geographical location and other vehicle and machine data transmitted between the Data Platform and CUs. “Malicious Code” means code, files, scripts, agents or programs intended to do harm, including, for example, viruses, worms, time bombs and Trojan horses.
Machine Data means usage data collected by Software licenced or Products sold (or licenced) under the Agreement such as battery management (time to empty, standby current, average current), device system time, CPU processing load, application usage time, free RAM, number of running processes, network information (name, identifier), device identifier, firmware version, hardware version device type, audio volume, LED state, beeper volume, backlight level, key light, odometer count, reboot, reboot cause, total storage and physical memory availability, power cycle count, and device up time.
Machine Data means anonymized usage data collected by devices sold (or licensed) under this Agreement such as battery management (time to empty, standby current, average current), device system time, CPU processing load, free RAM, number of running processes, network information (name, identifier), device identifier, firmware version, hardware version device type, audio volume, LED state, beeper volume, backlight level, key light, odometer count, reboot, reboot cause, total storage and physical memory availability, power cycle count, and device up time. Notwithstanding anything else in this Agreement, all title and ownership rights in and to Machine Data are held by Zebra. In the event, and to the extent you are deemed to have any ownership rights in Machine Data, you hereby grant Zebra a limited, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use Machine Data. In addition to the rights specified under this paragraph, Zebra may use any data provided by Licensee and its End Users through Zebra hardware or Software or otherwise provided to Zebra during use of Zebra hardware or Software for analytic purposes, as otherwise permitted by applicable law or regulation and as reasonably required either contractually or to achieve the functionality of the Zebra hardware or Software as described in its documentation.
Machine Data means data concerning the operation of the machine to which a Telematics Device is installed, including location data. Machine Data does not include Personal Information.
