Operating System Management definition

Operating System Management shall be a Resource Unit Category. One
Operating System Management means the monitoring and management of health, performance and security of specified Operating Systems, as set out in this Service Annex.
Operating System Management means the management of the server operating system(s) as set out in Clause 6.

  • For the purposes of this Section 13, with respect to any hosting Service provided by ViaWest pursuant to this Agreement, the parties agree that ViaWest shall be responsible for the following: (a) Operating System Management: ViaWest shall manage, maintain, and support the applicable Red Hat Linux and/or Windows Server operating system (the “Operating System”).

  • Customer acknowledges that for SunGard to provide Operating System Management Standard Services that SunGard will install utility software on the server(s) in the Space on which the operating system resides.

  • SunGard shall provide Operating System Management Standard Services for those servers or partitions set forth in the Schedule.

  • SunGard shall provide Operating System Management Advanced Services for those servers or partitions set forth in the Schedule.

  • Customer must provide a minimum of one (1) dedicated network interface per server to be eligible for Operating System Management Advanced Services.

  • Standard Application Support — Database Services include the following as requested by Customer and with Customer instructions: (i) Advanced Monitoring — Database Services and Operating System Management Standard Services (as defined herein); (ii) database patch installation and tracking; and (iii) assistance in resolution of detected database failures.

  • Customer acknowledges that for SunGard to provide Operating System Management Advanced Services that SunGard will install utility software on the server(s) in the Space on which the operating system resides.

  • GUARANTEE - The servers for which Customer has contracted with SunGard for each of the following services: Equipment Management Services; Operating System Management Services; and Platform Monitoring Services (hereinafter referred to as "the System") shall be operational and available to Customer 99.9% of the time during the Agreed Term of the Schedule.

  • Operating System Management Services include: (i) the initial OS build on the server, (ii) OS patch maintenance, including one (1) version upgrade per contract year, if available from the vendor, and upon Customer request; (iii) resolution of detected OS failures; (iv) OS configuration changes upon Customer request; (v) configuration of OS level backups; and (vi) management of root security access.

  • This includes: Operating System Management Advanced Services; Management of the separate partitions on the server; and Management of Allstream-supported clustering technology as set forth in the Services Guide; In order for Allstream to provide Operating System Management Enterprise Services, Customer may be required to provide the appropriate management console (hardware and software) to manage the servers with logical and/or physical partitions.

  • Operating System refers to the software that manages the Hardware Device. You have the right to use the Operating System delivered with the Hardware Device (and any updates acquired through our technical support services) only as incorporated in, and as part of, the Hardware Device and subject to the terms of the license agreement(s) delivered with or on the Hardware Device. Current versions of the license agreements are located in the documentation for the Hardware Device.

  • PJM Management means the officers, executives, supervisors and employee managers of PJM.

  • operating site means a site, other than an aerodrome, selected by the operator or pilot-in-command or commander for landing, take-off and/or external load operations;

  • Project Management The individuals appointed by each Party cf. clause 4.1 in the Agreement.

  • Change Management means the add-on module to the Programs that enables engineers to define network changes through one or more configuration templates. Those network changes can be applied to multiple devices and executed/rolled back automatically. The Change Management module enables engineers to verify the impact of the changes across the network to help ensure a safer change process.
